Georgian Single mahogany Tea Caddy with inlaid shell.
A superb example of a Georgian mahogany Tea caddy dating back to c.1790 the caddy features two harewood inlaid shells, with a rosewood border, edged in boxwood and ebony . It has a fully working lock and tasselled key. The box houses a burr maple interior with a olivewood lid.
It measures 11.2 by 10 and stands 10.5 cm high.
