Late 18th Century Mahogany Single Tea caddy with Inlay.
A superb 18th century single mahogany tea caddy dating back to c.1790. It is boxwood edged and cross banded in Harewood with superb Harewood inlaid shell to the top of the tea caddy, a mother of pearl key escutcheon and a working lock and key.
The box houses a rosewood cross banded single lid featuring a bone handle.The box has it’s original interior apart from the back of the inside lid which we have relined with antique marble paper.
The box 13 x 13 and stands 13cm high.
