Regency Penwork Coromandel Jewellery Box.
A fine example of a regency penwork coromandel jewellery box dating back to c.1815.
The box features wonderful penwork borders and a engraved slightly warn vinegarette picture of two ladies and a child to the centre. it has exquisite brass handles to the sides, with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
It houses it’s original tray to the inside, we have have professionally relined the tray and the rest of the interior with handcrafted marble paper.
A truly exquisite piece in superb condition.
The box measures 35 x 28 and stands 14cm high.
