Victorian Mother Of Pearl Glove Box.
A beautiful Victorian Mother Of Pearl Box dating back to c.1850, it started life as a sewing box with a needle holder to the back of the inside lid and then later used as a glove box. The box features a silver key escutcheon and a fully working lock and key.
The box houses a bone slip to the inside, it has it’s original red velvet interior with a white shaped satin back.
The mother of pearl is in superb condition the box would make a splendid ladies watch or jewellery box.
It measures 24 x 8 and stands 6cm high.
