Late 18th Century Fruitwood and Applewood Twin Tea Caddy.
A splendid example of a George III Twin Section Tea Caddy dating back to c.1790 in Fruitwood and Applewood with two wonderful harewood shells inlaid to the top and the front of the box with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
The box houses two beautiful lids to the inside which we think are a darker satinwood featuring bone handles we have relined the back of the inside lid with a splendid green and gold marbled paper to match the outside of the box.
A beautiful Tea caddy in stunning condition.
It measures 19.3 x 11 and stands 12.5 cm high.
