Regency Mahogany Twin Lidded Tea caddy.
A fine example of a Regency Mahogany Tea Caddy dating back to c.1815. The tea caddy is inlaid with boxwood it sits on four brass claw feet with lion mask handles to the sides. A mother of pearl key escutcheon and a working lock and tasselled key.
The box houses beautiful boxwood inlay to the back of the inside lid, with two lidded tea compartments with bone handles and a glass liner to the centre.
The tea caddy measures 31 x 16 and stands 18cm high.
