Victorian Burr  Walnut Stationary Box.
An unusual Victorian burr walnut domed top stationary box bound with a brass rope ,the box features a Wedgewood mounted plaque to the top with a smaller brass rope wrapped around the plaque.
It dates back to c.1850 and has a brass key escutcheon with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
The box’s interior features it’s original fitted stationary sections that we have relined with handcrafted marble paper.  
The box measures 22 x 12 and stands 16cm high.
