Regency Sarcophagus Mahogany Box with Shell Inlay.
A fine example of a regency mahogany box dating back to c.1820. The box is cross banded in tulipwood, with a Harewood shell to the top of the box.
The box sits on four brass ball feet with original two headed bird brass handles to the sides and a fully working lock and tasselled key. We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper
The box measures 29 x 19 and stands 15 cm high.
