19th Century Anglo Indian single tea caddy..
A spectacular example of a Anglo Indian single tea caddy dating back to c.1820 in superb condition.
The caddy sits on four ivory ball feet, it has several ivory columns creating a pillar effect. With decorative borders to the top and bottom creating a good contrast in colours. Open the box to reveal it’s original velvet and sandalwood interior with a horn slip to the inside. The tea caddy has a silver top and key escutcheon with a fully working lock and key. The box measures: 9 by 8 and stands 11 cm high
