Victorian Brassbound Burr Walnut Tea Caddy.
A superb example of a domed top burr walnut brassbound twin lidded tea caddy dating back to c.1850. The tea caddy is bound in wonderfully decorative brass with a brass handle to the top. The key is just for decoration and doesn’t work.
The tea caddy houses it’s beautiful original pink satin interior to the back of the inside lid, with decorative wooden handles and two satin wood lids.
The box measures 23 x 12 and stands 18 cm high.
