Victorian Walnut Stationary Box.
A stunning example of a Victorian Walnut Stationary Box dating back to c.1870. With a front drawer to store paperwork, open the drawer using the brass handle and lock it using the brass pin.
It has a wonderful fitted fruitwood interior with a pen slope and a section to store an inkwell. There is a retailers label to the back of the inside “Partridge & Cozens 192 Fleet St London”.
The box features a brass name plate to the top (perfect for an engraving to make it personal) a brass key escutcheon and a fully working lock and tasselled key.
It measures 40 x 23 and stands 28 cm high.
The box is in superb condition perfect for storing letter and paperwork.
