A beautiful William IV rosewood lap desk dating back to c.1830. The lap desk features a stunning mother of pearl decorative patten to the top. The key is purely for decoration and doesn’t work the lock.
The Lap desk houses a green releathered writing surface, with space to the underneath to store paperwork, two lidded pen compartments, two nib slopes one small lidded compartment and two sections for inkwells.
The box measures 35 x 25 and stands 10 cm high.
