Art Nouveau Floral Inlaid Jewellery Box.
A Beautiful unusual art Nouveau rosewood jewellery box dating back to c.1900.
The box would have started life as a cigar table box, but it’s to pretty to be a cigar box, instead it would make an excellent jewellery box, it has two separate compartments either side lined with handcrafted marble paper, a brass handle to the top and a working lock and tasselled ornate key.
The box has stunning harewood and boxwood floral inlay right the way around the box, with fruit baskets and bowes to the top.
It measures 27.5 x 19 and stands 11.5 cm high.
