A beautiful mahogany single tea caddy, dating back to c.1840, inlaid with a boxwood ship to the top of the lid, with boxwood and Harewood stringing and borders right the way around the box.
The box features a working lock and tasselled key.
Open the box to reveal a mahogany lid edged in boxwood, with a bone knob to the top.
The tea caddy measures 13 x 13 and stands 12 cm high.
