18th Century Sheraton Satinwood Twin Lidded Tea Caddy.
A striking example of a 18th century Sheraton satinwood tea caddy, dating back to c.1770. The tea caddy is cross banded in tulipwood and has beautiful inlaid mahogany panels all around the tea caddy, it sits on four brass ball feet with a brass ball to the top. The key is just for decoration and doesn’t work the lock.
Open the box to reveal two satinwood lids cross banded in tulipwood with mahogany panels to the centres.
A superb tea caddy one of our favourite pieces in stock at the moment.
The box measures 19.5 x 10.5 and stands 13 cm high.
