Victorian Burr Walnut Games Box.
A fine example of a burr walnut games box dating back to c.1870. The box has a mother of Pearl top and key escutcheon and a working lock and tasselled key.
The box houses a beautiful satinwood interior with several sections for playing cards with a coromandel and brass lidded section for counters to the centre.The box includes six packs of cards and bone counters.
22 x 17 and stands 7.5 cm high.
