18th Century Unusual Decanter Box In Flame Mahogany.
A remarkable 18th century decanter box in a beautiful piece of flame mahogany edged in ebony dating back to c.1785.
The box started life as a knife box and has since been converted into a tremendous decanter box featuring two matching decanter bottles a port or sherry glass and a very unusual slim wide decanter bottle shaped like a large spirit hip flask. All the bottles are in good condition. The interior to the inside has been sectioned to fit the bottles perfectly. It has been relined with handcrafted marble paper. The box has a working lock and key.
It measures 20 x 26 and stands 32 cm high.
