A superb “Watkins of London” brass and mahogany Telescope.
The telescope dates back to c.1840, it was used as a prop in Gilbert and Sullivans 
“Midshipmate C.Wesley H.M.S Pinafore 4th November 1933 From Mr C. Frizzell “
 The Telescope has a maker label to the other  side 
“Watkins Charing Cross London” 
It measures 5x5 and stands  37cm high, 68.5 when extended.
