Regency Rosewood twin canister tea caddy, it’s sarcophagus in shape. The tea caddy dates back to 1820,it’s cross banded in tulip wood with boxwood stringing and sits on four brass hairy paw feet. The tea caddy has brass lion mask handles to the sides and a fully working lock and key.
The box houses Two mahogany canisters and a glass liner to the centre ,the back of the lid is moroccan red leather.
It measures 31 by 15 and stands 17 cm high.
