Victorian Brassbound Walnut Writing Slope.
A Wonderful Brassbound walnut writing slope, dating back to c.1870, with a brass top and key escutcheon.
The box houses it’s original black leather writing surface, it has a nib slop, pen slope, a lidded compartment for nibs and two inkwells. The writing slope features three secret drawers underneath the writing surface which is also a good space to store paperwork there is also another section to the back of the inside lid for stationary.The writing slope has a fully working lock and key.
It measures 50.5 x 26 and stands 18 cm high.
