Victorian Burr Walnut Writing Slope With Secret Drawers.
A superb Walnut writing slope dating back to c.1850 edged in ebony with a mother of pearl top and key escutcheon. The box features a Brahma lock unfortunately we haven’t been able to find a key that works the lock.
Open the box to reveal a ebony interior with a red re leathered writing surface, a nib slope and a pen slope. There is space behind the inside lid to store paperwork. Underneath the writing slope there is more space to store paperwork and two secret drawers.
The box measures 35 x 23 and stands 15.5 cm high.
