George III Satinwood Tea Caddy.
A fine example of a twin lidded Satinwood Tea caddy dating back to c.1810.
The tea caddy is cross banded in king wood to the top and the front. It has a Sheffield plated handle to the top and a fully working lock and tasselled key. The interior features two burr Manoel lids, the back of the inside lid has been relined with antique marble paper. The box measures 22 x 13 and stands 13 cm high.
