Georgian Painted papier-mâché table box.
A nicely decorated c.1820 ‘Grand Tour’ painted papier-mâché table box. The box is painted all over with Ancient Greek garden scenes with pillars and figures. The box has been relined with antique marble paper. It has a little crackling as it should but otherwise in lovely condition.
The box measures 14 by 14 and stands 6.5 cm heigh.
