William IV Rosewood Writing Slope with Mother of pearl inlay.
A striking and a very nice size ,William IV Rosewood Writing Slope dating back to c.1830, The writing slope has beautiful mother of pearl and abalone inlaid decorative floral patterns. It features a fully working lock and tasselled key.
Open the box to reveal a red releathered writing surface, a stationary rack to the back of the lid and space for paperwork to the underneath, the box also comes with two inkwells, a nib slope, a pen slope with a compartment underneath.
The box measures 35 by 23 and stands 13cm high.
