This is a brassbound Georgian Mahogany Writing Slope, c.1820. It measures: 15cm high by 24cm wide 41cm across. It has a lovely feature being its original lectern which sits on the top and when you’re not using it sits inside the writing slope, it has a small secret draw, to access it you lift up divider that divides the pen slope from the nib slope. The box is in superb condition, it has a green re- leather interior, military brass handles, there is also the makers label saying L.H Farthing under the bottom of the leather flap.it has a pen slope a nib slope and two compartments for inkwells and an original side draw.
