This is a French Serpentine Fronted Miniature Chest, c.1850. It measures: 12cm by 12cm and stands 18.5 cm in height. It's satinwood and mahogany, it has a little ebony stringing that runs across the top and through the front. The wood to the top is West Indian satinwood, there is burr cedar inlay in the middle of the front of the miniature chest with four little brass nob handles, it has relined interior in the drawers. It's in superb condition, lovely piece of satinwood and a super unusual piece of miniature furniture for anyone who collects it, would make a lovely jewellery box.
